Women’s Personal Safety Workshop

Our Women’s Personal Safety Workshop provides a supportive environment for women to learn practical strategies that can help improve personal safety and confidence. While everyone deserves to feel safe in their community, women often face unique safety risks, and this workshop focuses on strategies designed specifically to address those realities.

Participants learn how to recognise early warning signs, set clear boundaries, manage uncomfortable encounters and safely remove themselves from unsafe situations. The workshop also explores common real-world scenarios and practical ways to de-escalate potential encounters before they escalate further.

A practical component allows participants to practise simple techniques in a controlled and supportive environment, including scenarios that simulate real-life situations. To help create a comfortable space for open discussion and participation, venue details are only provided to registered attendees prior to the workshop.
