The Neighbourhood Watch Alliance is a collaborative network of independent Neighbourhood Watch organisations working together to strengthen community safety across Australia.

Established in 2026, the Alliance brings together experienced, community-led organisations representing over 16 million Australians, united by a common vision: creating safer, better-connected communities through collaboration, innovation and collective action.

While each member organisation remains independently governed and locally focused, the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance provides a platform to share knowledge, develop joint initiatives and strengthen the impact of Neighbourhood Watch across Australia.

The Alliance was created to encourage collaboration while respecting the independence and local expertise of each member organisation.

By sharing ideas, resources and experience, Neighbourhood Watch Alliance members can strengthen partnerships, develop innovative community safety initiatives and achieve greater impact together.

The Alliance is NOT a governing body or a replacement for existing Neighbourhood Watch organisations. It is a voluntary collaboration built on mutual respect, shared values and a commitment to improving community safety and connection across Australia.

What We Do

The Alliance creates opportunities for member organisations to participate, share knowledge and build on community safety practices and education across Australia.

By sharing successful campaigns, resources and best practices, members build on each other's positive outcomes, develop innovative crime prevention initiatives and strengthen partnerships with police, government and community organisations.

Together, this united approach enhances local programs and supports the delivery of effective community safety outcomes.
